The Daily Bump: When color and sound meet halfway

Introducing: Luis Cardosa, a Portuguese visual jockey and founder of the international Videomorphose collective. We first discovered him (recently) when we came across this VJ mix by him (below) for the beautiful track, "Sirene," released on a fantastic new album, Strich and Faden by Paul Schulleri released yesterday on Subtrak.

Videomorphose is a growing family of like-minded VJs who embrace manipulation of light, color, and imagery to enhance musical experiences. This video is just one hint at the rising collaboration between DJs and VJs, a trend that points to some exciting audiovisual developments in the near future.
