Rave on, Rebels....Exclusive Photos

The kick off night of the Rebel Rave Tour was all bright lights and a buzz of energy. The chic-ness of Manhattan’s club scene was a little out of the comfort zone for NY's Blkmarket Membership and underground crew (we're more familiar with the Brooklyn grunge of no-fuss warehouse parties than bottle service and VIP lines). However, it was a successful first night with a great turnout and a very upbeat crew of Rebels. Those guys never fail to bring in the good vibes or good music. Deniz Kurtel performed an impressive set for a debut and she seemed to be having as much fun behind the decks as the packed dance floor below. Take note: Kurtel is definitely one to keep watch for in 2010. Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and Rebel boss Damien Lazarus followed suit and delivered the goods per usual. However, we’re not first timers to their DJ sets and something tells us they were just giving us a taste of what will go down over the next two months as they rumble across the country. Pacha was just a warm up for them. “I think I’m going to age like twenty years after this,” said Jamie Jones of the tour. And if you’ve ever raved with this family before, he’s probably right. The Crosstown Rebels mean business.
